The Premier Eagles will kick off the 2015 BCPBL season with four home games this coming weekend, including a double-header against the Nanaimo Pirates on Saturday April 11th and another double-header on Sunday the 12th against the Parksville Royals. Game times Saturday are 11:30 am and 2:00 pm, while Sunday's go at 12 Noon and 2:30. All games take place at Lambrick Park in Victoria.
As part of a special opening ceremonies on Saturday (estimated start-time of 10:30 am) the Eagles will be commemorating a permanent bullpen memorial to the late coach Roy Moretti (pictured, photo by Jen Blyth), who passed away this winter. Moretti was a coach in both the Pirates and Eagles organization, so the unveiling of this special memorial in the presence of both teams will be a special event for his family.
